What a cast! Christian Bale, Margot Robbie and John David Washington lead an all-star ensemble that includes Chris Rock, Anya Taylor-Joy, Robert De Niro and Taylor Swift!
Amsterdam is based on a 1930's conspiracy to overthrow the government of the United States. Initially dismissed by the press as a hoax, a Congressional Enquiry concluded that the plot was planned and in all likelihood, ready to put in to action. No one was ever prosecuted.
I find it hard to believe that this film did not fare better at the box office. The three stars put in fantastic performances, with a clear chemistry between them, the supporting cast are wonderful (you have to love Mike Myers’ British accent!) and the quirky story-line weaves its way quite brilliantly. This feels like a film that will be re-evaluated in the future. I love it.
This wonderful poster has never been folded and is in superb condition. Being double-sided, it is suitable for display in an Art of the Movies Light Box or traditional framing. Either way, it will look amazing!
