A guaranteed original U.S. one sheet movie poster from 1973 for Herman Hoffman's sci-fi thriller "The Invisible Boy", starring Richard Eyer, Philip Abbott, Diane Brewster, Harold Stone, Robert H. Harris, and Robby the Robot.

Robby The Robot was such a hit in 1956's Forbidden Planet (and MGM had spent a fortune making him) that the studio decided to cast him in another film!

A bit of time travel is mentioned in order to bring Robby back from the 23rd Century to the 20th, where a 10 year old endowed with the brains of a super-computer manages to assemble him. Can the super-computer and the robot make the young man's dreams of invisibility come true?

The film was a hit, taking over $800K at the box office and being re-released in 1973. This poster, with fantastic artwork by prolific movie poster artist John Solie, was produced for that release.

As was standard practice at the time, it was originally issued folded, but has since been linen-backed and restored and as our photos show, now looks amazing!
