What an incredible poster!

A guaranteed original U.S. one sheet movie poster from 1957 for Nathan H. Juran's monster sci-fi horror thriller "The Deadly Mantis", starring Craig Stevens, Alix Talton, William Hopper, Florenz Ames and Donald Randolph.

When an erupting volcano causes the ice of the North Pole to shift, a 200 foot long creature, trapped for millions of years, escapes! Wrecking havoc as it travels south across North America and flying at over 200 miles an hour, how can it possibly be stopped?

I imagine that the movie poster is better than the film! The amazing artwork is by Oklahoma born artist, Ken Sawyer. It is as '1950's B-movie' as they come. We love it!

It was originally issued folded, but has since been linen-backed and restored and as our photos show, now looks incredible!
