A guaranteed original U.S. 'one sheet' movie poster from 1958 for "Missile Monsters", the Fred C. Brannon alien invasion sci-fi thriller, starring Walter Reed, Lois Collier, Gregory Gay, James Craven and Sandy Sanders.
Republic Pictures created fourteen movies from their film serials and "Missile Monsters" is a good example, formed from the 12 chapters of 1950's "Flying Disc Man From Mars".
This great and rare example of 1950's style was originally issued folded. It has now been professionally linen-backed, a process that aids restoration and conversation of works on paper. At some point the resultant linen border was cut away and the bottom edge of the poster was also slightly trimmed. As can be seen from our photos, this will not affect the look of the poster once framed with a matt. It will look superb.
