A guaranteed original poster from 1977 for "Star Wars", now known as "Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope".

The Story of Star Wars, released in 1977, the same year as the film, was an album giving an abridged version of the Star Wars story using dialogue and sound effects from the original movie and narrated by Roscoe Lee Browne.

Note that this poster has never been folded and is in wonderful condition! The superb photo shows R2-D2 and C-3PO alongside Luke's home on the desert planet Tatooine. This is a rare poster and a fantastic addition to any Star Wars fan's wall - especially in this condition.

By the way, as a child I vividly remember The Story of Star Wars being played on British Radio. I sat with my radio tape recorder, fingers hovering over the Play and Record buttons, trying to capture the start of each episode perfectly!
