A guaranteed original Italian 'photobusta' movie poster from 1977 for "Star Wars", now known as "Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope" and released in Italy as "Guerre Stellari".

Written and directed by George Lucas and nominated in the "Best Picture" category for an Oscar, the film introduced us to Mark Hamill (as "Luke Skywalker"), Harrison Ford (as "Han Solo"), Carrie Fisher (as "Princess Leia"),Peter Cushing (as "Grand Moff Tarkin"), Alec Guinness (nominated in the "Best Supporting Actor" Oscar category, as Obi-Wan Kenobi) and a host of actors now very familiar faces to all movie fans.

Italian photobusta posters were used in a similar way to U.S. lobby cards and examples are found in both landscape and portrait formats. This wonderful landscape image shows Luke and Leia trapped aboard the Death Star. How will they escape?

This a rare poster and it has survived in a fantastic condition, with just a few nicks and knocks gained over the past 45 years. A wonderful addition to any Star Wars fan's wall - especially in this unfolded condition.
