A guaranteed original Japanese 'B2' movie poster from 1990 for Garry Marshall's romantic comedy "Pretty Woman", starring (Oscar nominated) Julia Roberts, Richard Gere and an unforgettable tune from Roy Orbison!
Down-on-her-luck 'lady of the night' Vivian Ward is hired by ruthless financier Edward Lewis, initially to help him drive his car. Can he really be the knight who will give her a fairy-tale ending?
A box-office blockbuster, the movie would take $463M off a production budget of $14M. It is now a firm 'film of our time' and the movie posters are incredibly hard to track down!
This is the only example of this Japanese poster that we have ever tracked down. It has never been folded and as our photos show, is in wonderful condition. A real collector's piece.
By the way, my brother would not forgive me if I didn't mention the fantastic King of Wishful Thinking by Go West that plays as Richard Gear takes a Lotus sports car for a ride about Hollywood. Such a classic tune!
