A guaranteed original 'half sheet' movie poster from 1982 for Wes Craven's super-hero science fiction "Swamp Thing", based on the characters created by Len Wein and Bernie Wrightson for D.C. comics.
Having first appeared in comic book form in 'House of Secrets #92' (1971), the humanoid elemental, environmental conscious, disaster fighting super-hero has inspired two films and three TV series.
For his 1982 outing, Craven cast Ray Wise as a scientist transformed in to a monster (Dick Durock) by the sabotage of the evil Anton Arcane (Louis Jourdan).
"The Return of Swamp Thing" followed in 1989.
With amazing artwork by acclaimed fantasy artist Richard Hescox, this superb illustrated poster harks back to the 'B' movies and rubber-suited monsters of the 1950's. It is a smaller (and rarer) half-sheet format and has never been folded. As our photos show, it is in super condition and will look fantastic framed and on display.
