A guaranteed original U.S. 'half sheet' movie poster from 1982 for "The Empire Strikes Back", sequel to 1977's "Star Wars".
Perhaps the most highly regarded of the Star Wars sequels. This poster is from the 1982 U.S. re-release of the film.
Based on the story by George Lucas the film starred Mark Hamill (as "Luke Skywalker"), Harrison Ford (as "Han Solo"), Carrie Fisher (as "Princess Leia"), Billy Dee Williams (as "Lando Calrissian"), Frank Oz (as "Yoda") and a host of actors now very familiar to all movie fans.
Note that this rarer 'half sheet' movie poster has never been folded and as our photos show is in fantastic condition. A brilliant original trilogy poster for the Star Wars fan.
The art from this poster is by Tom Jung. Whilst similar to the 1981 re-release poster, it was reworked, with Han Solo now taking a far more prominent role.
