A guaranteed original one sheet movie poster from 2004 for the re-release of Frank Darabont's classic "The Shawshank Redemption", based on a short story (Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption) by Stephen King.

Nominated for the Best Picture Oscar, this wonderful film stars Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman (also Oscar nominated for Best Actor).

On its original release, the film was a 'slow burner'. It's popularity has since increased, resulting in the 10th anniversary re-release. The film poster for this was designed and painted by Drew Struzan, perhaps the most famous movie poster artist of the past 50 years. Darabont is apparently a big fan of Struzan's work and couldn't decide which of his designs to go with, as a result Struzan produced a few before this design was selected. It is stunning.

This fantastic movie poster has never been folded and is in superb condition. It is double-sided and so could be displayed in an Art of the Movies Light Box or framed traditionally.
