A guaranteed original '8x10' promotional movie still from 1999 for Stanley Kubrick's erotic thriller "Eyes Wide Shut", based on the 1926 short story 'Traumnovelle' by Arthur Schnitzler.

Kubick's final film (he would die a few days after showing the final cut to the studio), it stars (then) husband and wife Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman as a conservative couple drawn in to a shadowy and dangerous world.

With the hidden symbolisms and incredible cinematography that typified Kubrick's work, this is a film to watch carefully - and then to watch again - it is an astonishing piece of art.

This superb promotional movie still captures both film star and film director. It was snapped by a Unit Still Photographer during filming and then used for publicity during the film's release.

It has been framed by us in a black ayous wood frame with an iced white mount, protective barrier board and crystal clear Perspex glazing.

In the lower half of the image, it does look like it has been exposed to some humidity at some point in its (close to) 30 year life. Despite that, as our photos show, it will look amazing on display!

By the way, filming took 400 days. It holds the world record for the longest continuous film shoot!
