Based on Bram Stoker's novel of 1897 and, a re-make of 1922's Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror, this critically acclaimed movie sees a lonely young woman pledge herself to a supernatural being. Many years later, her husband encounters the shadowy Count Orlok. Could it be that the Count and his wife have more in common than he realises?

Director Eggers deep fascination with the Dracula story goes back to high-school where he and a classmate adapted the story for the stage. His close affinity with the work shines through this lovingly made film.
