With a cast made up of non-professional actors, Evil Does Not Exist follows the impact of a proposed development on a remote mountain community.

Premiering at the 80th Venice International Film Festival, it was awarded the Grand Jury Prize before securing the Best Film award at the British Film Institute London Film Festival.
