Anchorman 2 finds Ron and Veronica Cornerstone married co-anchors for a New York news station. When his wife is promoted and he is fired, how will the shattered ego of the newsman cope?

Of all Will Ferrell's comedy successes, the creation of Ron Burgundy must rank near the top, but his three side-kicks are just as memorable, with Brian Fontana's range of colognes, Brick Tamland's dim-witted innocence and Champ Kind's Whammy! all important ingredients in the film's success. So much so, that Anchorman 2 almost doubled its predecessor's box office result!
