A guaranteed original poster (we believe from the 1990s) celebrating the work of H.R. Giger on Ridley Scott's sensational sci-fi horror "ALIEN", based on a story by Dan O'Bannon and Ronald Shusett.

Starring Sigourney Weaver, Tom Skerritt, Veronica Cartwright, Ian Holm and of course, John Hurt (who can forget the alien chest burst scene) the movie would win the Best Visual Effects Oscar and change sci-fi horror movies forever. 

H.R. Giger is the artist and designer that you have to blame for your alien nightmares. He spent months working on the design of the ultimate space monster and a book was published alongside the film, with sketches, paintings and production photographs that chronicle the development of Sigourney Weaver's nemesis.

This poster was produced to celebrate Giger's work and to promote the release of the book. The book was re-printed a few times and can still be tracked down on-line. We believe this poster was produced alongside a re-printing in the 1990s.

It is in fantastic condition and as our photos show, will look amazing framed and on display.
