A guaranteed original and framed '11 x 14' lobby card from 1977 for "Star Wars", now known as "Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope".
Written and directed by George Lucas and nominated for the Best Picture Oscar, Star Wars introduced us to Mark Hamill (as "Luke Skywalker"), Harrison Ford (as "Han Solo"), Carrie Fisher (as "Princess Leia"), Anthony Daniels (as "C-3PO"), Kenny Baker (as "R2-D2") and a host of actors now very familiar faces to all movie fans.
This fantastic lobby card, showing Luke at the Lars Homestead on Tatooine examining droids offered by the Jawas, would have been used in the foyer of a U.S. movie theater.
It is in superb condition and has been framed by us in a black ayous wood frame with an iced white mount, protective barrier board and crystal clear Perspex glazing. As our photos show, it will look amazing on display!
By the way, do you know the name of the red astromech droid that has a bad motivator? He is R5-D4!
