A guaranteed original and framed 11x14 lobby card from 1957 for Rouben Mamoulian's romantic musical comedy "Silk Stockings", inspired by Melchior Lengyel's Ninotchka and with music by Cole Porter.
Originally running on Broadway in 1955, Mamoulian's big screen adaptation sees Fred Astaire and Cyd Charisse star as a film producer and Russian operative. Will the spy fall for the movie man?
Astaire had announced that this would be his last musical film and he symbolically smashes up his famous top hat during the film!
This wonderful lobby card would have been displayed in the foyer of a U.S. movie theater during the film's release, well over sixty years ago!
It is in fantastic condition and has been framed by us in a black ayous wood frame with an iced white mount, protective barrier board and crystal clear Perspex glazing. As our photos show, it will look amazing on display!
We only sell guaranteed original movie posters. We do not sell reproductions.
Note: This lobby card is priced framed. Photos showing 'in room' images are for illustration only. Please check our hi-res images and the sizing information shown above.
