A guaranteed original and framed '8 x 10' movie still for Guy Hamilton's 1964 espionage adventure "Goldfinger", starring Sean Connery as everyone's favourite gentleman spy.
Based on the Ian Fleming novel of the same name, Goldfinger is the third of the Bond films and the first to win an Oscar. Can you say the movie's title in your head without it sounding like Shirley Bassey? What a title song - and what a film - the movie defined 007 in film and introduced so much of what we now take for granted, "A martini, shaken not stirred..." anyone?
This fantastic movie still, showing wonderful Honor Blackman as Pussy Galore, would have been taken by a Unit Still Photographer during filming and then used for promotion during the film's release.
It has been framed by us in a black ayous wood frame with an iced white mount, protective barrier board and crystal clear acrylic glazing. As our photos show, it will look amazing on display!
By the way, from a sticker on the reverse, we know that this still came from The Everett Collection. In 1961 Morris Everett began collecting stills on virtually every film ever made. By the late 1980's he had amassed one of the world's largest private collections of entertainment photography. This still was part of his collection.
