A guaranteed original '8 x 10' Lobby / Front of House Card from 1981 for John Huston's World War II soccer / football thriller "Escape to Victory", released in the U.S. as simply "Victory".

With a fantastic combined acting and football cast, including Pele, Michael Caine, Bobby Moore, Sylvester Stallone, Osvaldo Ardiles, Max Von Sydow and a lot of Ipswich Town players, this wonderful film is perhaps one of the best football related films yet produced,

When the German high command arranges a football match with Allied Prisoners of War, can the hodgepodge international team of captives possibly beat them? Or, could they even escape? 

This fantastic lobby card would have been used in the foyer of a U.S. movie theatre (see that the film is entitled 'Victory'). It shows trainer Michael Caine arguing with would-be goalie Stallone while training in the POW camp. It has a full light scuffs (see our hi-res photos) but these are not distracting and it still displays fantastically. It is a wonderful opportunity to get a piece of movie history from this 'boys own' adventure. We love it!
