In 1989, Disney and Pacific Theatres fully restored Los Angeles' 'El Capitan' movie theatre as the home of Disney on Hollywood Boulevard. The Lion King received its premiere at the theatre and this movie poster was produced exclusively for the initial 'El Capitan' release. It is a rare poster.

The highest grossing traditionally animated film of all time, The Lion King won two Oscars and has spawned a sequel, a prequel and a Broadway / West End show. A CGI remake of the film was released to further acclaim in July 2019.

This single-sided movie poster is in great condition and would make a great 'talking point' addition to any Disney / Lion King fan's room!
