This one caught us by surprise, but we still tracked down a handful!

An amazing and guaranteed original double-sided one sheet movie poster for the 2022 IMAX release of Steven Spielberg's 1975 masterpiece "Jaws", starring Roy Scheider, Robert Shaw, Richard Dreyfuss and Lorraine Gary.

Based on Peter Benchley's 1974 novel, Spielberg's outstanding film is frequently listed as one of the greatest films ever made. I am still surprised that for its original release it was given a PG rating in the UK. That resulted in me being taken to see it when I was four! (It was eventually given a 12A rating for its 2012 release.)

Is there a more iconic movie poster? The fantastic artwork is by the great Roger Kastel. It was originally painted for the cover of Benchley's novel, but was so good, it was retained for the film too.

In September 2022, Jaws was given a limited release in IMAX and REAL 3D. This poster was produced for that release and is in superb condition. 

Movie posters from the original 1975 release are highly sought after and very hard to come by. This is a fantastic opportunity to get hold of an original movie poster for Spielberg's horror masterpiece and one that could be displayed in an Art of the Movies Light Box! (Or framed traditionally if so desired).

Vintage cinema posters were working promotional materials used by theatres and distributors. As such, signs of age and handling are normal and form part of their character.

Condition is carefully assessed for each poster and reflected in the description. Where relevant, notes may include details such as light handling wear, fold lines from original cinema distribution, or minor edge wear.

Any significant restoration or conservation work will always be clearly stated.
