A guaranteed original one sheet movie poster from 2005 for Steven Spielberg's sci-fi horror thriller "War of the Worlds", starring Tom Cruise, Dakota Fanning, Miranda Otto, Tim Robbins and Justin Chatwin. 

H.G. Wells' nineteenth century novel is one of the first stories to describe a battle between humans and extra-terrestrial invaders. Orson Welles' 1938 radio adaptation is famous for causing panic among listeners who believed the news bulletins in the broadcast to be real!

The first film adaptation was George Pal's 1953 The War of the Worlds. Spielberg's adaptation sees Cruise as a separated father, struggling to keep his children safe and to reunite them with their mother as aliens devastate cities around the globe.

This wonderful single-sided movie poster was produced in advance of the film's release and shows the aliens' grip on fragile planet Earth! It is in lovely condition and as our photos show, will look superb framed and on display.

By the way, the 1953 film starred Gene Berry and Ann Robinson, both of whom had cameos in this film!
