A guaranteed original '30 x 40' movie poster from 1982 for Jim Henson and Frank Oz's fantasy adventure "The Dark Crystal".

Set of the planet Thra, the story follows the quest of 'Jen' to heal a magical crystal before the three suns align and evil gains power forever. Building on Henson and Oz's Muppet experience, it utilised ground-breaking puppetry to create a magical world filled with fantastical creatures.

Note that this poster is a rarer '30 x 40' movie poster with stunning artwork by Richard Amsel. These posters are printed on heavier paper stock and, unlike many 'one sheets' of the period are not folded.

The poster has never been folded. It has few minor handling marks and displays very well.(As you can see in our photos.)
