A guaranteed original one sheet movie poster from 1994 for Tim Burton's biographical comedy "Ed Wood", starring Johnny Depp, Martin Landau, Sarah Jessica Parker, Patricia Arquette, Jeffrey Jones, G.D. Spradlin, Bill Murray, Vincent D'Onofrio and Lisa Marie!
Edward Davis Wood Jr was an American film-maker, author and actor famed for his low budget sci-fi and horror films of the 1950's and sexploitation films of the 1960's. Almost forgotten by his 1978 death, he would be 'rediscovered' in the eighties and in a 1986 essay, Jim Morton wrote "Lesser men, if forced to make movies under the conditions Wood faced, would have thrown up their hands in defeat."
Tim Burton's sixth film sees Johnny Depp as Wood in the 1950's as he struggles to get his films funded and produced. Martin Landau would take home the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his fantastic portrayal of actor Bela Lugosi.
Whilst the film's box office performance was disappointing, it would receive critical acclaim and is now regarded as one of Burton's finest movies.
This superb movie poster has never been folded and is in fantastic condition. Being double-sided, it is suitable for display in an Art of the Movies Light Box, or traditional framed display. Either way, it will look amazing on the wall of any Tim Burton or 1950's B-movie fan!
