A guaranteed original advance one sheet movie poster from 2017 for Christopher Nolan's World War II drama "Dunkirk", based on the events of the Dunkirk evacuations.
Between 26th May and 4th June 1940, Operation Dynamo was launched to save Allied forces hemmed in by the advancing German army. By the end of the eighth day, over 330,000 troops had been rescued by a rag-tag fleet of 800 vessels. An astonishing accomplishment.
Nolan's fantastic movie has little dialogue, with the suspense being created through images and music. It would be recognised at the 90th Academy Awards with eight nominations (including 'Best Picture' and 'Best Director'), winning three.
This evocative poster has never been folded, is in super condition and displays fantastically. It is double-sided and so could be displayed in an Art of the Movies Light Box or traditionally framed.
