A guaranteed original one sheet movie poster from the 2007 'The Final Cut' version of Ridley Scott's 1982 sci-fi classic "Blade Runner" (sometimes seen written as "Bladerunner"), starring Harrison Ford, Rutger Hauer, Sean Young and Daryl Hannah.
Based on the Philip K. Dick story Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, perhaps surprisingly the film did not perform well on first release. It is now judged one of the greatest science-fiction films ever made.
Having wrangled over earlier releases of the film, Scott was finally allowed complete artistic control to produce a version of the sci-fi classic. Even though he had begun work as early as 2000, it would be for the 25th anniversary of the movie that the resultant Final Cut was given a short theatrical release before a five-disc DVD release.
As early as the original 1982 release, Drew Struzan had been asked to produce concept sketches for the movie. When Scott began work on the Final Cut he asked that an original Struzan sketch be used for this version. Drew ended up painting a new version and that is the artwork seen on this fantastic poster.
This single-sided movie poster is in lovely condition! As our photos show Drew has captured the cast brilliantly with Roy Batty, Pris, J.F. Sebastian, Zhora Salome and Eldon Tyrell being featured alongside Deckard and Rachael. A fantastic example of Drew's work for an incredible film.
