A guaranteed original and framed '8 x 10' movie still for one of the most influential films ever made, Stanley Kubrick's legendary "2001: A Space Odyssey".

Based on the short story The Sentinel by Arthur C. Clarke, the screenplay was written jointly by Kubrick and Clarke. Although financed by MGM from the U.S., the film was largely made in the U.K. It's ground-breaking visual effects earned Kubrick an Oscar. One of four of the film's nominations.

This superb movie still shows astronauts Bowman and Poole entering a Discovery EVA pod. Can they talk privately, without the ship’s on-board computer HAL hearing?

Movie stills were shot by a Unit Still Photographer during filming and then used for continuity, story boarding and publicity.

This wonderful example is in fantastic condition, with only minor signs of ageing in the white border. It has been framed by us in a black ayous wood frame with an iced white mount, protective barrier board and crystal clear Perspex glazing. As our photos show, it will look amazing on display!
