All posters offered by Art of the Movies are original cinema posters produced for theatrical promotion at the time of a film’s release.

They are not modern reproductions or reprints. These posters were created for display in cinemas and represent a distinctive part of film history — combining graphic design, illustration and photography to capture the atmosphere of the films they promoted.

As authentic promotional material, each poster reflects the printing techniques and visual style of its era.

Vintage film posters were working pieces of cinema advertising and many have naturally acquired signs of age over time.

Light wear, fold lines, small marks or minor imperfections may be present depending on how the poster was originally distributed and stored. Where relevant, condition details are noted within individual product listings.

Each product listing specifies the size in both centimetres and inches and where known, the format of the poster.
