A guaranteed original and framed '8 x 10' movie still from 1990 for Martin Scorsese's incredible gangster crime thriller "Goodfellas", based on the 1985 non-fiction story by Nicholas Pileggi, Wiseguy: Life in a Mafia Family.

Henry Hill was a career criminal, beginning at eleven as a gopher for gangster Paul Vario. Arrested at age fifteen, he refused to grass and won the respect of his gangland superiors. Graduating through the criminal ranks, in 1978 be masterminded a major theft at John F. Kennedy airport, before being arrested for heroine tracking. Facing a long-sentence and with a price on his head, he turned informant and entered the witness protection programme.

Scorsese's masterpiece tells Hill's story. Starring Robert De Niro, Ray Liotta, Joe Pesci, Lorraine Bracco and Paul Sorvino, it would be nominated for six Academy Awards, with Pesci winning for Best Supporting Actor. In 2000 it was added to the U.S. National Film Register for being "... culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant." 

Frequently imitated. Never bettered. This is an incredible movie.

This wonderful movie still was used for publicity during the film's release and features on the main one sheet movie poster too. It was captured by celebrated photo-journalist Dirck Halstead who also served as TIME magazine's Senior White House Photographer. (His images have appeared on the cover of the magazine more than any other photographer.)

It is in fantastic condition and has been framed by us in a black ayous wood frame with an iced white mount, protective barrier board and crystal clear Perspex glazing. As our photos show, it will look amazing on display!
