A guaranteed original one sheet movie poster from 1963 for Robert Wise and Jerome Robbins' stunning musical "West Side Story", starring Natalie Wood, Richard Beymer, Russ Tamblyn, Rita Moreno and George Chakiris.

Based on the Broadway musical, with words and music by Stephen Sondheim and Leonard Bernstein, the movie swept the 34th Academy Awards, taking home 10 Oscars!

This iconic poster was designed by Joseph Caroff. Given the success of the film there were multiple printings and this example was printed in 1963 and includes recognition of the film's Academy Awards. 

It was originally issued folded, but has since been linen-backed and restored and as our photos show, now displays incredibly well. A really superb poster for any lover of musicals and dance!
