When computer programmer Thomas Anderson (also known by his hacking alias 'Neo'), repeatedly stumbles over the phrase 'The Matrix', a strange woman introduces him to the shadowy Morpheus and a choice - to take a red pill and know the truth, or a blue pill to return to a life of ignorance...

The Wachowski's blend of sci-fi, neo-punk and Japanese animation-like effects changed the course of modern action film-making. After a hiatus of eighteen years, another Matrix movie is in the works, with Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss reprising their roles as Neo and Trinity. Exciting!

This superb poster from the original Japanese release has survived very well, with only minor signs of handling and rolling on the bottom left (please see our photos). Original posters for this movie are incredibly hard to come by and this is a fantastic opportunity to pick one up.
