A guaranteed original Australian 'day bill' poster from 1966 for the World War I action adventure "The Blue Max", based on the 1964 novel by Jack Hunter.

This fighter pilot action thriller starred George Peppard (he of 'The A Team' fame), James Mason and Ursula Andress.

Peppard allegedly wanted to create as authenticate a portrayal as possible and actually learned to fly for the film.

This poster was originally issued folded and there are some patches of paper loss close to one fold. However, given its age, it presents really well. Please examine our photos to understand its condition.

Whilst on first impression, a 'boy's own' poster, this film explored the less romantic side of war and this poster provides a serious talking point behind the exciting image.

We only sell guaranteed original movie posters. We do not sell reproductions.

Note: This poster is priced unframed. Photos showing framed and 'in room' images are for illustration only. Please check our hi-res images and the sizing information shown above.
