A guaranteed original licensed poster from 1987 of The Beatles, photographed during their final photoshoot on 21st August 1969.
Two days after their final recording session together (to finish 'I Want You, She's So Heavy'), the Beatles gathered at John Lennon and Yoko Ono's new home, Tittenhurst Park, to be photographed by Ethan Russell and Monte Fresco. It was the final time the fab four were together as a band.
The background to this series of posters is well documented. In March 1986, 'Apple', the Beatles' umbrella business company agreed a licensing deal with San Francisco based 'Determined Productions, Inc.' authorising them to produce and market Beatles memorabilia.
According to the press release, the three remaining Beatles, plus Yoko Ono had "... full rights of approval before anything is marketed". Determined went on to produce t-shirts, jackets, dolls and posters, many of which are now highly collectable.
This super poster has never been framed and (as our photos show) is in great condition.
We only sell guaranteed original posters. We do not sell reproductions.
Note: This poster is priced unframed. Photos showing framed and 'in room' images are for illustration only. Please check our hi-res images and the sizing information shown above.
