A guaranteed original U.S. one sheet movie poster from 1981 for "The Empire Strikes Back", sequel to 1977's "Star Wars".

Perhaps the most highly regarded of the Star Wars sequels. This poster is from the 1981 U.S. re-release of the film.

Based on the story by George Lucas the film starred Mark Hamill (as "Luke Skywalker"), Harrison Ford (as "Han Solo"), Carrie Fisher (as "Princess Leia"), Billy Dee Williams (as "Lando Calrissian"), Frank Oz (as "Yoda") and a host of actors now very familiar to all movie fans.

Note that this poster has never been folded and while it shows signs of previous handling, is in lovely condition. There is a minute nick on the top left hand-side (see our photos) and some marks on the reverse, which do not affect the front. As our hi-res photos show, it displays very well and will look superb framed and on the wall of any Star Wars fan.

The art from this poster is by Tom Jung. It would also figure, in a reworked style, on the 1982 re-release poster.
