A guaranteed original and framed '8 x 10' lobby card from 1977 for "Star Wars", now known as "Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope".

Written and directed by George Lucas and nominated in the Best Picture Oscar category, Star Wars introduced us to Mark Hamill (as "Luke Skywalker"), Harrison Ford (as "Han Solo"), Carrie Fisher (as "Princess Leia"), Anthony Daniels (as "C-3PO"), Kenny Baker (as "R2-D2") and a host of actors now very familiar faces to all movie fans.

This superb lobby card shows Luke, Obi-Wan and C-3PO in the desert wastes of Tatooine. The poor protocol droid has lost his arm, should they leave him? "There's no sense in you risking yourself on my account. I'm done for."

The lower portion of the card gives information about the film. This section is known as the 'slug'.

It is in fantastic condition and has been framed by us in a black ayous wood frame with an iced white mount, barrier board and acrylic glazing with high UV resistance. As our photos show, it will look amazing on display!
