A guaranteed original '11 x 14' lobby card from 1977 for "Star Wars", now known as "Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope".

Written and directed by George Lucas and nominated in the Best Picture category for an Oscar, this is the film that introduced us to Mark Hamill (as "Luke Skywalker"), Harrison Ford (as "Han Solo"), Carrie Fisher (as "Princess Leia"), Anthony Daniels (as "C-3PO"), Kenny Baker (as "R2-D2") and a host of actors now very familiar faces to all movie fans.

This superb lobby card would have been used in the foyer of a U.S. movie theatre. It shows Darth Vader in the hanger of the Death Star ordering his troops to search the tractor-beam ensnared Millennium Falcon! As our photos show, it is in lovely condition for its age and will look fantastic framed and on the wall of any Star Wars fan's home.

By the way, just imagine being on the huge set at Elstree Studios when this was being filmed. It must have looked out of this world!
