A guaranteed original one sheet movie poster from 2018 for Hirokazu Kore-eda's (billed as Kore-Eda Hirokazu) Japanese crime drama "Manbiki Kazoku", literally translated as "Shoplifting Family", but released in English as "Shoplifters".
While working on his earlier film, Like Father, Life Son, director Kore-eda began to explore "What makes a family?" and the impact of the Japanese recession that forced many families in to poverty and shoplifting.
The resultant film is a powerful exploration that would win the coveted Cannes Palme d'Or and be nominated for an Oscar and a Golden Globe.
This superbly designed poster with artwork by Huang Hai (who has also illustrated many Studio Ghibli movie posters), is an incredible work of art in its own right. It has never been folded and (as you can see from our photos) displays really well. It is also double-sided and so is suitable for display in an Art of the Movies Light Box, or traditional framing.
We only sell guaranteed original movie posters. We do not sell reproductions.
Note: This poster is priced unframed. Photos showing framed and 'in room' images are for illustration only. Please check our hi-res images and the sizing information shown above.
