An absolutely stunning and guaranteed original 'one sheet' poster from 1957 for Lewis Gilbert's "Reach For The Sky", the World War II film starring Kenneth More as the extraordinary Douglas Bader.
Bader lost both legs in a pre-War flying accident. His tenacity and determination saw him return to active flying service where he distinguished himself in combat. He was eventually downed over France and after multiple escape attempts saw out the war at the 'escape proof' Colditz Castle.
This is a really stunning poster, full of Invictus spirit. It has to be seen to be believed.
Originally issued folded, the poster has now been linen-backed (see FAQs) quite superbly and displays astonishingly well. I doubt there is one in better condition anywhere else.
We love this poster so much, we have made it the subject of a "The Film Behind The Poster" blog post.
We only sell guaranteed original movie posters. We do not sell reproductions.
Note: This poster is priced unframed. Photos showing framed and 'in room' images are for illustration only. Please check our hi-res images and the sizing information shown above.
