"The name is Bond, James Bond..."
The last great illustrated Bond poster. A guaranteed original UK quad movie poster from 1987 for "The Living Daylights", the fifteenth film of the James Bond franchise.
Taking it's title from the last of Ian Fleming's Bond stories, the film introduces Timothy Dalton as a darker and more serious 007, alongside Maryam D'Abo, Joe Don Baker, Art Malik and the reintroduced Aston Martin, this time a V8 Vantage.
John Glen returned to direct the fourth of his five Bond films, shooting in Gibraltar, Austria and on the 007 sound stage at Pinewood. A critical and commercial success, the movie grossed nearly $200M at the box office and paved the way for 1989's "License to Kill".
This is a superb poster. Up there with the best of the Bond series? Yes. Certainly. The stunning illustration is by British artist Brian Bysouth. It captures everything good about a Bond film - sophistication, action, glamour and a darn good adventure.
Note that this poster was originally issued folded but has recently been professionally linen-backed and sympathetically restored. As our photos show, it looks fantastic and will be a major talking point of any Bond fan's collection. We love it!
We only sell guaranteed original movie posters. We do not sell reproductions.
Note: This poster is priced unframed. Photos showing framed and 'in room' images are for illustration only. Please check our hi-res images and the sizing information shown above.
