Whatever I am doing (even as I type this, Dancing In July by Steve Hiett if you are interested), music is always playing. When Nick Hornby's first book, High Fidelity, was released in 1995, I could only think it was the book that I had been meant to write. I even lived in Islington, just a mile or so from the record shop that inspired the story. But, I didn't write it. Nick Hornby did and it has sold well over 1M copies and been adapted for the big screen.

When the film came out, I was a little dubious. How could Hollywood recreate the charm and magic of the book by setting it in Chicago? Well, director Frears and the superb cast managed it and the soundtrack is an absolute killer too!

This iconic single-sided poster has never been folded and as our photos show, is in super condition. It will look fantastic framed and on the wall of any vinyl junky!

By the way, the screen-writers listened to over 2,000 songs before narrowing down the soundtrack!
