A guaranteed original one sheet movie poster from 1985 for Steven Spielberg and Joe Dante's horror monster comedy "Gremlins", written by Chris Columbus ("Home Alone", "Adventures In Babysitting" and many others).

The term 'gremlin' was coined during World War II when Royal Air Force engineers would blame failures on the mysterious little monsters! Thirty years later, Columbus was lying awake listening to mice scuttling around in his loft when the idea for the film came to him.

Starring Phoebe Cates, Zach Gilligan, Hoyt Axton, Polly Holliday and Frances Lee McCain (and with cameos by Steven Spielberg and Chuck Jones) the movie would prove a smash at the box office and is a firm favourites amongst the children of the '80s!

Originally released in 1984 with a poster by movie poster legend John Alvin that gave little of the Gremlins away, due to its popularity, the film was re-released a year later with a Gremlin now bursting out of the box! This super poster is from the 1985 release. 

Unusually for the time, it has never been folded and is in super condition, with only minor signs of handling in the white border. It will look fantastic framed and on the wall!
