"A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away…"
Two guaranteed original Japanese chirashi 'B5' flyer movie posters from 2015, for Jon Spira's fantastic Star Wars documentary "Elstree 1976".
George Lucas' original sc-fi masterpiece "Star Wars" (now known as 'A New Hope') was filmed in 1976 at Elstree Studios, a few miles down the road from our base. This beautifully made documentary by film-maker and writer Jon Spira (once the British Film Institute's in-house documentary maker) tells the story of a number of local actors who were drafted in to play unnamed parts such as Stormtroopers and X-wing pilots and named characters such as 'Greedo', 'Boba Fett' and 'Darth Vader'.
This film is a must watch for any Star Wars fan. It gives a nostalgic look back at the impact that Star Wars has had on a group of actors, most of whom did not make the main bill. A wonderful ninety minutes, beautifully made.
This original Japanese chirashi poster was produced to publicise the Japanese release of the film. We will provide two identical copies of the poster so that the front and back can be displayed together. Alongside the Japanese text "A long time ago, in England far away..." the reverse of the poster shows a small photo of actor Jeremy Bulloch, the actor who portrayed "Boba Fett".
We only sell guaranteed original movie posters. We do not sell reproductions.
If you would like us to frame these chirashis, please add two 'grey' frames to your cart before checkout.
Note: These posters are priced unframed. Photos showing framed and 'in room' images are for illustration only. Please check our hi-res images and the sizing information shown above.
