A really unusual find, a guaranteed original Dutch 'one sheet' movie poster from 2013 for Blake Edward's 1961 romantic comedy "Breakfast At Tiffany's", based on the 1958 story by Truman Capote.
There is little that has to be said about this film. Audrey Hepburn's 'Holly Golightly' is sublime, a strong woman with a soft core and a troubled past. George Peppard's 'Paul Varjak' is perfectly measured, almost understated, providing a stability that allows Hepburn's Oscar nominated fragility to shine. A quite wonderful film. As good a watch now, as it was on its release.
This single-sided poster is one of a few made for the film's showing at Amsterdam's Film Museum 'The Eye' in November 2013, following the movie’s digital remastering in 2011. It uses the original 1961 Robert McGinnis artwork with additional text specific to this release.
The poster shows a few signs of being handled and we have photographed those closely. Our advice would be to frame the poster with a mount to cover the edges and to hang a rare, stylish and iconic movie poster at a fraction of the cost of a 1961 original. One of our custom frames with the mount option would be ideal.
We only sell guaranteed original movie posters. We do not sell reproductions.
Note: This poster is priced unframed. Photos showing framed and 'in room' images are for illustration only. Please check our hi-res images and the sizing information shown above.
