We were after this poster for years and we can't believe this is the second we have found this year!

A guaranteed original U.S. one sheet movie poster from 1981 for John Landis' superb Horror thriller "An American Werewolf In London", starring David Naughton, Jenny Agutter, Griffin Dunne, John Woodvine and Frank Oz.

When two young American back-packers find themselves lost on the Yorkshire Moors, they are given just one piece of advice "stick to the road..."

Director Landis wrote the screenplay for this incredible movie when he was just nineteen! It mixes some incredible (for the time) moments of horror with a self deprecating script and some inspired music choices. It is well worth a watch today!

This fantastic poster is a rare one, for two reasons. First off, it has never been folded! That is very unusual for this film. Secondly, this poster was produced for just one night! On 14th August 1981, a week before the film's official release, the film was played at a number of U.S. movie theatres. This poster was only used for that night!

As our photos show, it is in super condition and there cannot be many of this poster around, especially in this condition!

By the way, the humour didn't end with the script, the real-life production company for the movie was entitled 'Lycanthrope Films'!
