A guaranteed original and framed '8 x 10' movie still from 1974 for one of the most influential films ever made, Stanley Kubrick's legendary "2001: A Space Odyssey".

Based on the short story The Sentinel by Arthur C. Clarke, the screenplay was written jointly by Kubrick and Clarke. Although financed by MGM from the U.S., the film was largely made in the U.K. It's ground-breaking visual effects earned Kubrick an Oscar. One of four of the film's nominations. 

This superb movie still would have been used for promotion at the time of the film's 1974 re-release. It shows Dr. Frank Poole during a space-walk, approaching the Discovery's communication antenna. Is it really faulty?

It is in fantastic condition and has been framed in a black ayous wood frame with an iced white mount, protective barrier board and acrylic glazing with high UV resistance. As our photos show, it will look amazing on display!
