"A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away…"
A guaranteed original U.S. 'style B one sheet' movie poster from 1999 for "The Phantom Menace", Star Wars Episode I.
The first of a trilogy of prequel films (filmed at Leavesden Studios, just up the road from our HQ), the film starred Liam Neeson (as "Qui-Gon Jinn"), Ewan McGregor (as the younger "Obi-Wan Kenobi"), Natalie Portman (as "Queen Padme Amidala") and Jake Lloyd (as "Anakin Skywalker"), together with a host of new characters, including "Darth Maul" and (to many fans angst) "Jar Jar Binks".
Note that this single-sided poster has never been folded and has only very minor handling wear. It is in super condition and displays very well. It was made available to members of the Star Wars fan club at the time of the film's release.
This stunning poster by the legendary Drew Struzan heralded the return of Star Wars after a gap of fifteen years. For old fans, it was an unbelievable kick back to the exhilaration of the 1970's. For new fans, it introduced a new set of characters to follow on an amazing three film journey. The poster sums it all up perfectly.
We only sell guaranteed original movie posters. We do not sell reproductions.
Note: This poster is priced unframed. Photos showing framed and 'in room' images are for illustration only. Please check our hi-res images and the sizing information shown above.
