"A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away…"
A guaranteed original '11x14' lobby card from 1999 for "The Phantom Menace", Star Wars Episode I.
The first of a trilogy of prequel films (filmed at Leavesden Studios, just up the road from our HQ), the film starred Liam Neeson (as "Qui-Gon Jinn"), Ewan McGregor (as the younger "Obi-Wan Kenobi"), Natalie Portman (as "Queen Padme Amidala") and Jake Lloyd (as "Anakin Skywalker"), together with a host of new characters, including "Darth Maul" and (to many fans angst) "Jar Jar Binks".
This fantastic lobby card carries a variation on the 'Vader shadow' theme that we haven't seen on any other posters. It is a superb collectors' piece and an amazing gift for any Star Wars fan.
This imagery heralded the return of Star Wars after a gap of fifteen years. For old fans, it was an unbelievable kick back to the exhilaration of the 1970s. For new fans, it introduced a new set of characters to follow on an amazing three film journey. The poster sums it all up perfectly.
We only sell guaranteed original movie posters. We do not sell reproductions.
Note: This lobby card is priced unframed. Photos showing framed and 'in room' images are for illustration only. Please check our hi-res images and the sizing information shown above.
