A guaranteed original 'wilding' one sheet poster from 2008 for Christopher Nolan's super-hero thriller "The Dark Knight", with Christian Bale as 'Batman' / 'Bruce Wayne' and Heath Ledger as 'The Joker'.

Considered one of the greatest super-hero films of all-time, "The Dark Knight" will always be remembered for the phenomenal performance of Heath Ledger. On 22nd January 2008, six months before the film opened, Ledger tragically died from a drug overdose. He would sweep the board at the following year's film awards, including the "Best Supporting Actor" Oscar, awarded posthumously.

The film would go on to take over $1B at the box office, paving the way for super-hero films as we know them today.

This fantastically designed single-sided poster has never been folded and as our photos show, displays really well!

By the way, 'wilding' posters are produced to be displayed outside (perhaps pasted on to walls etc.), so. 'in the wild'. This poster was sourced from L.A. where it would have been part of a viral outdoor campaign, but went unused.
