A guaranteed original U.S. '11 x 14' Lobby / Front of House Card from 1969 for George Roy Hill’s classic outlaw western “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid”, starring Paul Newman, Robert Redford and Katharine Ross.
This wonderful movie is inspired by the real-life antics of bank and train robbers Robert LeRoy Parker (known as ‘Butch Cassidy’) and Harry Longabaugh (known as “The Sundance Kid”). After a decade of crime they find themselves on the run from the Pinkerton Detective Agency. Can they escape and live out their lives in Bolivia?
I cannot hear Bacharach and David’s “Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head” without thinking of this film and the scene captured in this wonderful lobby card! Bacharach would win two of the film’s four Oscars for his musical score.
Review aggregation site Rotten Tomatoes states that “… with its iconic pairing of Paul Newman and Robert Redford, jaunty screenplay and Burt Bacharach score, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid has gone down as among the defining moments in late-'60s American cinema.”
This superb lobby card would have been used in the foyer of an American movie theatre at the time of the film’s release. As our photos show, it will look fantastic framed and on display.
We only sell guaranteed original movie posters. We do not sell reproductions.
Note: This lobby card is priced unframed. Photos showing framed and 'in room' images are for illustration only. Please check our hi-res images and the sizing information shown above.
