"A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away…"
A guaranteed original U.S. 'style B' one sheet movie poster from 1999 for "The Phantom Menace", Star Wars Episode I.
The first of a trilogy of prequel films, this fantastic movie stars Liam Neeson (as "Qui-Gon Jinn"), Ewan McGregor (as the younger "Obi-Wan Kenobi"), Natalie Portman (as "Queen Padme Amidala") and Jake Lloyd (as "Anakin Skywalker"), together with a host of new characters, including "Darth Maul" and (to many fans angst) "Jar Jar Binks".
Note that this incredible double-sided poster has never been folded and is in superb condition. This stunning artwork by the legendary Drew Struzan heralded the return of Star Wars after a gap of fifteen years. For old fans, it was an unbelievable kick back to the exhilaration of the 1970's. For new fans, it introduced a new set of characters to follow on an amazing three film journey. The poster sums it all up perfectly.
By the way, an eagle-eyed customer recently pointed out that a few scenes from the movie set on Naboo are filmed at Whippendell Wood, a mile or two up the road from AotM HQ. Who would have thought it?!
We only sell guaranteed original movie posters. We do not sell reproductions.
Note: This poster is priced unframed. Photos showing framed and 'in room' images are for illustration only. Please check our hi-res images and the sizing information shown above.
